Case study

SkyJacks supplies industrial equipment across several brands. We upgraded its website to show the range properly, then built a site for each brand and tied them together.

The SkyJacks website

The brief

The challenge

SkyJacks represents several equipment brands, and buyers arrive from both directions: some searching for a type of machine, others searching for a brand by name.

The existing website did not give either group a clear path. The range needed to be easier to browse, and each brand needed a presence of its own that still pointed back to the supplier.

The solution

What we built

One upgraded supplier website, plus a site for each brand, cross-referenced so no buyer reaches a dead end.

  1. 01

    An upgraded product range

We reworked the existing website so the equipment range is easy to browse by category and each product is presented with the detail buyers need.

  2. 02

    A site for each brand

We built a website for each brand SkyJacks represents, giving every brand a home of its own rather than a page in someone else’s catalogue.

  3. 03

    Cross-referenced throughout

The brand sites and the SkyJacks range point to each other, so a buyer who starts with a brand finds the supplier, and a buyer who starts with a machine finds the brand.

  4. 04

    Search, speed and maintenance

We optimise the sites for search, keep them fast and handle ongoing maintenance and updates.

  5. 05

    Marketing mailers and event RSVPs

We design and send SkyJacks’ marketing mailers to its customer base, and run the RSVP mailers and databases behind its events, from the invitation through to the final guest list.

Outcomes

The result

  • A product range buyers can browse by what they need
  • Every represented brand has a site of its own
  • Brand and supplier sites feed each other, whichever way a buyer arrives
  • Search optimisation, speed and maintenance handled across all of them
  • Customer mailers and event RSVPs handled for the team
