The brief
The challenge
Technical products are easy to explain badly. Green Leap Innovations needed a website that makes its energy solutions understandable to the people who buy them, without flattening the engineering behind them.
There was no existing site to build on, which meant deciding what the website should say, how it should be structured and what each page is there to do — before any of it could be designed.
The solution
What we built
A website from a blank page: structure first, then design, then the search work.
- 01
Content architecture
We worked with the team to decide what the site needed to cover, how it should be grouped and what each page is there to achieve, before anything was designed.
- 02
A new website from scratch
We designed and built the site around that structure, presenting the solutions clearly for the customers who need them.
- 03
Optimised for search
Each page is written and structured for the terms customers actually search, so the business can be found for what it does.
- 04
Hosted and looked after
We host the website and keep it fast, secure and up to date.
Outcomes
The result
- A website built from a clear structure rather than an inherited one
- Technical solutions explained in terms customers understand
- Pages built around the searches the business wants to win
- Hosting and upkeep handled by the team that built it
