Case study

We rebuilt AutoHotSpot’s website around a live stock feed, connected every enquiry channel straight to its CRM, automated how leads are shared between sales people, and took the dealership onto the first page of Google.

The brief

The challenge

AutoHotSpot sells pre-owned vehicles from branches on Voortrekker Road in Bellville and Parow, in Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs, and offers finance, trade-ins and nationwide delivery. Its stock is large and changes every day.

The old website ran on an outdated stock feed, so it regularly showed vehicles that had already been sold — and buyers enquired about cars that were no longer available. Enquiries arrived by email and had to be typed into the CRM by hand, which took time and slowed down every follow-up.

There were no social media ads and barely any social media presence, and the dealership did not rank for any of the searches buyers actually use.

The solution

What we built

One partner for the website, the integrations and automation behind it, the advertising and the search work.

  1. 01

Every enquiry straight into the CRM

Enquiries from Facebook, Google, Facebook Messenger and the website itself now go directly into AutoHotSpot’s CRM, with the vehicle and contact details already attached. Nothing is retyped and nothing is lost in an inbox.

  2. 02

    Automatic lead allocation

We built a lead allocation system that shares incoming leads between the sales people automatically, so every enquiry has an owner the moment it arrives and the sales management team no longer assigns leads by hand.

  3. 03

A website on a live stock feed

The website’s listings come from AutoHotSpot’s live stock feed and refresh every 15 minutes, so new arrivals appear on their own and sold vehicles drop off. Buyers only ever enquire about cars that are genuinely available.

  4. 04

    Stock-focused Google and Facebook ads

We run stock-led campaigns on Google and Facebook. The ads are built from the same live feed as the website, so the vehicles people see advertised are the vehicles on the floor — the adverts are never out of date.

  5. 05

A full SEO audit, and the work that followed

We audited the site from top to bottom and applied current best practice for 2026 — the technical, content and structured-data work that search engines and AI assistants both rely on — to get AutoHotSpot found for the searches its buyers make.

Outcomes

The result

  • Four seconds from a buyer pressing submit to a sales representative being notified — and higher conversion rates because of it
  • Enquiries only on vehicles that are actually in stock — no more leads on sold cars
  • Website listings updated every 15 minutes
  • Email, Facebook, WhatsApp, Google and website forms all reaching the CRM within seconds
  • First-page Google rankings and more organic traffic
  • Less admin for the sales management team, and more time for customers
